Love the staff and the bar
Make sure you triple check the price of what you’re getting... even if you ask specifically for the “$1 singles”... thought i spent $6, ended up being $44. The bartender knew I thought I was ordering $1 singles. I don’t like to write bad reviews about places but I was really upset about this. Will not go back and would not recommend to anyone.
Backyard has the worst customer service. The server is probably drunk because they are so eager to holler at the customer right at their face just because we’re Asian??? (Especially the baldheaded guy) He just came to our face, swearing with the F word and making a scene and lie to everyone that we were drunk. We were just playing games at the table (no drinks yet) and called the bartender ( girl with the glasses) and told us to leave.. lol what was that ? I think it’s so lame. Easily the most DISRESPECTFUL staff I’ve ever experienced. I’ve seen them discriminate against so many people and will kick them out for seriously no reason. They beat up my friend and threw her, yes HER, down the stairs for checking up on her husband. She now needs surgery. I’ve heard many stories that are the same. Do not give these people your money.
The staff at The Backyard accused my boyfriend (who is Egyptian) of jumping the fence to get into the club. He had all the stamps and went in with the 7 of us. But they told him to “get the f*ck out”. They were wrong, made a scene, and ruined the end of my ring day experience. Will never visit again.
An hour before closing we tried to get into this bar in order to reach the food trucks within this bar. We got told we could not go in with no explanation and no reason to reject us. We were all of age and not drunk and they still denied us. Plain and simple... DO NOT PUT FOOD TRUCKS IN YOUR BAR IF PEOPLE CANNOT ACCESS THEM BY THEIR OWN RIGHT! ... poorly managed.. smh
