I lived in north Seattle for five years and avidly fished all local waters. The Avid Angler by far has been the most informative down to earth and all round best fly shop I ever had the pleasure of visiting. I now live in Wisconsin and still miss the Pacific northwest all the time especially my beloved fly shop.
Excellent service in my first few visits. Ryan and crew hooked us up with some monster sized loaner boots for a friend and then Brita got me all sorted with an awesome Echo TR7 and Ross reel. Thanks to Ed Megill for recommending I hit up The Avid Angler. The crew outdid themselves again to help make sure I'm ready to wrap up steelhead season this year. If only there was a bar inside I just might never go home...
Great shop, excellent selection and the staff is spot on and honest!
