I bought a pre-owned certified 2022 Tiguan in 11/2024. Months later the engine light came on, code P0491 (secondary air insufficient flow) . They claimed they fixed it, but the light is back on giving the same code P0491, current mileage is 46,000 (est). 02/14/2026 I took it back up there and now they are denying my warranty coverage, claiming cylinder failure and trying to charge me $6460.95. My diagnostic code is P0491 secondary air injection system failure, not a cylinder failure (P030X). This is an emissions system issue... read more
