We have used The Auto Shoppe for 10 years now, Al has been the only mechanic to work on our cars. He has provided incredibly good service, spends extra time on small issues you might have but not have noticed, and is a great person as well. In 2009, our RAV-4 accelerator pedal stuck as my wife was driving with our newborn. After she managed to stop it, Al came to the house (where it was towed). this mechanic is not to be trusted. He has a million excuses why the car is "not ready yet" We took our car in for an engine replacement. After weeks and weeks of excuses we finally got our car out. The old engine had not been removed and he only had a couple hours work done. he new engine was still sitting outside the car. He only refunded us about a third of the money we paid him and the very expensive Nav/CD system we had installed was missing. He will not tell us where it is.

My wife was filling up our truck at the gas station and the starter stoped working. She was trying to get it going and the teller noticed and called her husband. He went as far as to pull the battery clean it, charge it, test the system. Found out it was the starter. Went to NAPA and got us WHOLESALE prices on the parts. Installed it all for free! The whole time chit chatting to calm us down! You just don't find people like this any more!
