I made an appointment for my 17yo daughter with an endocrinologist as a followup to her lab results with her primary doctor. I could not get an appointment within the Baylor Scott White system for two months, so I scheduled with this place online two weeks out (the only endo appt available in the entire city of Austin less than two months out, which should have been a red flag) . Got billed twice for 2 different amounts. Charged me again on my card after a set promised price was discussed. Supplied a DVD that had absolutely no images on it in any format of media I installed it in to. Promised to send another copy of the DVD and I never received. The person doing the imaging was professional. The staff behind the counter where less helpfull. I got billed almost twice as much as I was told by there "department". This isn't a chocolate factory... you take pictures...
I am with BCBS (blue cross etc.) On Mon 9/25 I called this place to make an apointment for Thur 9/28 not realizing that they are supposed to call me after they receive BCBS authorization number. This place confirmed on Tues that I had a $100 copay and was approved for the Thu appointment. On Thur arriving 30-min earlier and filling out the paper work, the clerk says your appointment is NOT authorized. I played back the message from their office on Tue.
