Many negative experiences living here so far honestly. But a current big issue is that we pay an obscene amount of money to rent here only for the hot water tank to never work. It’s been over a week with no hot water, and it’s not the first time this has happened. We went a full month without hot water once. And there’s never an explanation as to why, and no estimated day that it’ll be fixed. Awesome place to live! It features spacious, modern units and is located in a peaceful neighbourhood. Also a great off-campus housing option for students. I lived here during part of my studies at UBCO and recently moved out as I transferred to UBC Vancouver. This property is close to the #8, 10, and 98 bus stop. It was super convenient to quickly commute to places like UBCO (15 mins), grocery stores (5 mins), and downtown (30 mins). I also loved all the amenities both buildings had to offer. Update: My now fiancé and I just moved out of the Aurora (into a new house) after having lived there for just over a year and we can truly say that we enjoyed our time living there! Wanda, the building manager, is amazing and very attentive and quick to respond to resident needs/requests (also our dog absolutely loves her haha!). She helped make our move out a lot less stressful and was there to answer any questions we had during the move. Worst place to live, did not feel welcome at all. The person that “runs” this building will make your life miserable.
One of the nicest and cleanest buildings in kelowna, newly constructed in 2022. The management is very cooperative and since I moved in from Ontario, without ever coming to Kelowna, the move to the new unit was done smoothly by the management person named Wanda. No complaints whatsoever
