We stayed in The Overlook suite, which we highly recommend! Beautiful views! Felt more like an apartment than hotel. Obsessed with the decor and art books they leave out. So much attention detail and care.
I live at the Astor Building for two years. Ashlie ( Manager) is the best .....Ashlie is so patient, nice and professional with all the guests. John ( Maintenance) works day and nite to keep the Astor clean and makes all repairs in our building.. Top notch work!! I plan to live at the Astor for a long time. The Astor has rental rooms availability on their website.. The Ball Room also known as the "Ruins" is rented out and available for parties and special events .. Went to a wedding there and I don't know if the heat broke but it was like 50 degrees inside. Pretty much ruined the ambiance, everyone had to be bundled up in coats. The inside is run down, it seems they started to fix it up and stopped a quarter of the way through.
