I wish I had never chosen to live at The Annex. I came to IUPUC as a grad student and chose The Annex because of it's affordability and proximity to campus. This was a mistake. I had to drop an initial $610 ($300 security deposit, $250 pet deposit, $60 annual fee to their billing service). I also needed to pay August's rent on move in day, which means I had to have $1,100 before I even got my keys! As someone with a disability that affects work hours, this was beyond stressfu... Move in day consisted of me cleaning the room and bathroom I paid to be cleaned prior to my arrival. It would also be nice if someone took the trash out around the premises. The included internet barely works. Finally, the management is .. Let's just say, unprofessional. Rant over.
