Decided to make dinner plans with friends in Saturday night, 6/20/26 and reserves a able for 6pm. Arrived and noticed there were no people outside and inside was busy which looked like a private party. Asked one of the staff members if we could sit outside and she informed it it was closed because the "chef's family party". The most unfriendly site I have ever visited. The staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. I will not go back.
We came here Saturday night to what I would say was a fun night for us, it was busy, it took a few minutes to get some seats outdoor. Had an issue with our food, it took forever to come out. The Manager was very understanding of our concerns as 1 of us is diabetic, I believe his name was Ben. On June 6, 2026, my mom, aunt, cousins, and I stopped by Foxtown Annex in Mequon to grab a drink and spend some time together. It was a busy evening with a live band playing outside, so we understood that service might be a little slower than usual. Food, location and ambience are just spot on. Service is TERRIBLE. Staff do what they can, but either this place is poorly managed or understaffed. Be prepared to wait, and wait, and keep waiting. Live music is good. My suggestion: get a table, go to the bar, order your drinks and be your own waitress. Don’t even bother to order food.
