Angus Barn is an upscale steakhouse with an opulent menu of wines, steaks, and seafood. Housed inside a building that resembles a giant red barn, Angus has been a local mainstay since 1960. Its staying power is attributed to great service, a fine dining atmosphere, and classic steakhouse fare. Locals come to the barn to celebrate special occasions and meals. The sprawling restaurant is a treat to walk through and behold, and has a wine cellar, whiskey lounge, and cigar bar.

Positives: great cheese and crackers, wedge salad, and the perfect homemade dessert. But, one does not go to Angus Barn for those things. A great steak is what is at stake at $40+ each. Our steaks yesterday (for a party of over 50) were terrible in quality and prep. My ribeye was dry and almost tasteless. I tried using A1 but decided to send it back. This was an annual dinner for us and I was looking forward to it. Disappointed to say the least. Not sure if I'd go back.
My first time going and it won't be my last. From my ribeye and lobster tail, to my chocolate cheese cake everything was great!
Fantastic food and phenomenal service! Can't wait to go back and bring friends and family
My daughter and I had wonderful meal on Sunday. Her ribeye was perfection. My filet mignon beautifully presented ala Oscar. Kevin waited on us with amazing agility and dedication to making our visit a memorable experience. From the Cracker Barrel cheese and crackers to my sweet potatoe, wow, just wow. We were too full to finish the meal and felt bad about the waste. However we were told everything is given to farm animals and a tiger preserve. Yay! Made our evening complete!
Me my husband and our 2 Boyz went Saturday night Food was delicious, We had the ribs and steaks salad and baked potato and sweet potato. And it was topped off with chocolate chess pie and pound cake.. love every minute our server was out standing, Excellent. Can't wait to go back... ....
Had dinner last night. Sat upstairs for the first time. Great dinner and fantastic service. Kelly was spot on with her attention and very personable. Tremendous customer service.
Visited The Angus Barn for the first time Friday with my friends. Excellent food and service. Thomas was an exemplary waiter. Can't wait to dine here again.
Great meal, awesome atmosphere and an amazing time had by all!!
What I can say about the Angus Barn is that the positive experience far outlasts the great food quality. Not a friendlier or more customer centric restaurant in the Triangle. Everything, from the FREE cheese, crackers, & veggies to the best steak in the house is tasty. But the people that work there make the difference.
The Angus Barn has a 4.7 star rating with 1,084 reviews.
The Angus Barn is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
