This was the best restaurant food we’ve ever had. The salad was crisp, fresh, and no overpowering dressing, the meat was huge, perfectly done to our specs: the chocolate chip pie was fabulous. Our server - Suzanne - was just off the charts. Friendly, helpful, not too pushy, even brought me a shawl because I was so cold. We were well prepared and expecting to pay a premium price, but we were amazed how reasonable for the experience our tab was. We love you Angus Barn, and we’ll be back!
The entire experience was amazing. I truly enjoyed the tour that Steven gave us and explaining why he has a favorite spot in the restaurant.
LauraR was our server. She was spot on the whole meal. I even saw her be extra helpful to other tables. Food was top notch! So much food...couldn’t eat it all. Everyone was friendly and very professional! Coming from a huge family of servers as far back as 1965....these had their stuff together. I will admit � I am the one huge failure as a server.. so I went into Dentistry. My in laws go there often also. Again, LauraR deserves every tip and more!
This was our first experience at this restaurant. We were seated quickly upon arrival. The server promptly welcomed us. His service was excellent. Our food arrived on time. I had the stuffed potatoe. It was over cooked and old tasting. I had a ribeye steak for dinner. It was good but not great. The portions were appropriate. The dessert was my favorite. We had the haystack pie with ice cream. Went for my birthday dinner. I was not disappointed!! Have been here a few times before. The BEST fillet mignon anywhere. Be prepared to stay at LEAST an hour and a half. If you leave hungry it's your own fault!! Plenty of food and always bring home leftovers! EXCELLENT place to spend a relaxing evening. Make sure you make reservations!! Wonderful chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
The Angus Barn is built on atmosphere and a reputation of being a great steak place. The atmosphere is definitely a 5 star. Let’s breakdown the food. The appetizers and salads are very good. The main course of our dinner was okay. The cuts of meat were not as tender as the price asks. Not only were the cuts not very tender, but out of the 8 dishes only 2 were cooked correctly. Secret gem for travelers. Barn on outside, fine steak restaurant inside. And ask for the wine cellar tour. Excellent. Service and food were awesome.
