The Anchorage was, without question, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding, the price point was incredibly reasonable for the quality, and the ambiance was perfect. But what took the experience from excellent to exceptional was the hospitality. Hands down the best restaurant in Greenville! Every dish was so well curated, the flavor profiles were delightful and surprising. Our server, Abby, was amazing! So attentive and personable, you can tell she genuinely loves where she works. Will be back again and again!
I really wanted to love The Anchorage, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. The presentation was beautiful, and the atmosphere was lovely. However, the entrée portions felt quite small for the price. The mushroom bulgogi had a slightly burnt and bitter taste, and the Wagyu beef was also quite dry. Overall, we left feeling a little less satisfied than we had hoped. I think it could be a nice spot for a date night or for those with a lighter appetite.
Awesome creative dishes, menu changes a lot which is great. Everything is always interesting and delicious.
