Good food. Great service. I took my 13-year-old daughter and my 11 year old son to Allwood diner today. I had the chicken gyro with Greek salad and fries. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the tzatziki sauce was delicious, if even a bit tame on garlic and onion. The roast beef and bacon sandwich was fresh and soft, not stringy. The chicken parm early bird special had an impressively large piece of chicken that was toasted at the end of cooking (that's the right touch)! SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR SERVER ISABEL.
Love this diner - I grew up and Clifton, now live in SC, every time I come up and visit my sister we go here to eat. Everything we have is so good, and they always have chocolate mousse cake. The staff has always been wonderful. Can't wait to go back
In the search for the best Diner,tonight we pay a visit to the ALLWOOD DINER in CLIFTON....What a surprise...As a veteran cook/chef and bit harsh critic at times, i am speechless.The service starts at the door and DENIS was there to welcome us and guide us in a dining experience.The place is clean,with nice colors and decor...the service staff fast and friendly....good food,clean plate,good price and delicious desserts.....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!!
My favorite diner of all time great service great food love it!
The owners and mangers will bend on orders that come with a dessert. What mean they will not substitute for something else unless you pay more or at regular price.
I like the all day breakfast, they do a nice job here!
