Our room, check in, and location to the ferry terminal were exceptional - unfortunately, the overbearing perfume in the lobby is a deal breaker and we will not return. A previous reviewer also noted the issue and I mistakenly thought it couldn't be that bad. It is, so much so that it triggered a headache each time we passed through the lobby.

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Zimmer. Lage sehr gut, alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar (Waterfront, Space Needle, Climate Pledge Arena). Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Personal sehr freundlich.

If you’re chemically sensitive at all, have asthma or allergies, or don’t like artificial scent you should consider *calling ahead* to see if they’re still pumping cologne through the air ducts in the lobby and the restaurant. What a bizarre experience - I felt like I was in a Las Vegas casino, in a bad way. I thought the front desk person was joking at first when they said that they pump scent into the air of the hotel… But no, it’s a real thing they decided to do. In Seattle of all places? I slept like a rock here, which has never happened at a hotel before. The thermostat has a "fan" option and it stayed on all night for the perfect white noise. Speaking of noise, the room seemed soundproof. I was in love with the room's windows — I took black & white portraits of my kids sitting there with the city behind them. There's a parking garage within a two minute walking distance to skip the valet option.
