We just went back to The Alexander after not having been back since opening, and we can’t say enough good things! They switched up their menu, so now the main meals come with sides (whereas before it was all sold separately). We sat at the bar, and Riko made the best drinks and we had such a good time chatting with him! The burger + fries, whipped ricotta, and chicken tenders were so so good! We will absolutely be back! Vibes were feeling like old school Ox and Stone. IYKYK
Was here recently for a wedding, which I heard was switched around pretty last minute, so kudos to them for being able to help out! The servers were really attentive, bar got really busy but the bartender handled it well, and the food was truly delightful! The crispy artichoke hearts were so good -- my husband doesn't even normally like artichoke hearts and was raving about them! Riko is an amazing bartender! Friendly, attentive, and makes fantastic drinks. His recommendations were spot on, and they made the whole experience fun and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommend asking for Riko!
We went to dinner this past Saturday and sat at the beautiful bar inside The Alexander. Everything was excellent from my special request elderflower martini to our burger to the wine selection and the atmosphere. Our bartender Riko was generous in conversation and knowledge.....we have been several times before and look forward to going again. Easily one of the best all around restaurants in Rochester!
