I live in this building. I’ve been a resident since 2015. The management company is deplorable. Be very very cautious when dealing with them. They will entice you with a low rent rate but then slap you with a huge 12-18% inc upon renewal. Knowing how difficult and annoying it is to move, you’re stuck. ZERO STARS FOR JERRY/GERRY(?) IF I COULD!! DISCLAIMER: I have been emailing with the senior manager who was very apologetic about my experience this morning. Five stars for him and Alan, another member of the Aldyn staff who was actually helpful and showed me around the building and apologized for his colleague's erratic behavior. I moved in this week to the Aldyn and I could not be happier. Kallin, Chase, and the leasing team went above and beyond in helping getting me settled in for my stay here, in short order. I am thankful for their efforts, and I would HIGHLY recommend this upscale building if life takes you to midtown west in NYC. First class all the way, and the amenities are awesome!
I've lived in this building for 10 years. Management has zero loyalty to their long term residents and will raise rent without delivering but entice new residents with 'move in specials'. Constantly, daily I I smell other tenants noxious food odors throughout apartment especially bedroom all day and night. This is not luxury living. It is shoddy cheap construction. There are issues with entrances not accessible to all residents. The building is not maintained as it should but yet rent continues to rise.
