As a working artist living in Toronto, I'm so glad The Artists' Health Centre exists! They provide vital, crucial services across a number of modalities that help take care of my body, mind, and energetic needs as an artist and the health team are all sensitive to the precarious work that artists often face. This place is a vital lifeline for artists!
Great resource for local artists in Toronto. I attended an amazing expressive arts workshop here and am now on the waitlist for low cost counselling services. Really looking forward to accessing the services at this health centre in the future.
My treatments at the Al&Malka Green Artists’ Health Centre have been essential for my well-being as a professional performer. With a team of several excellent practitioners, who assessed my particular needs, I established an effective and reliable regimen that continues to support me in my arts practices to this day. I am very grateful for the Centre’s comprehensive understanding and concrete financial support of working- though often undervalued and underpaid- artists.
I am so grateful for the help I have received at the Artists' Health Centre! Vicki (physio) and Tanya (Alexandre technique) have been so kind, supportive, and helpful. I have seen a huge reduction in physical discomfort in my work as a pianist, as well as a much improved awareness of my body in everyday life.
