We unfortunately had a disappointing experience with Jason. Having been through the home buying process many, many times before, we typically utilize the listing agent to write up an offer, since a buyer’s agent doesn’t add much value for us in the process. Jason specifically wanted a buyer’s agent to be used for the transaction to maintain things at arm’s length; he matched us with agent Luis Segura from his office to prepare the offer. I drove for over an hour through heavy LA traffic on a Sunday to attend an open house, which was scheduled to close at 4:00 PM. I arrived at 4:03 PM, and Mr. Bergman literally said he was very tired and couldn’t help me in any way. Think carefully about this agent’s motivation to help you buy or sell your property before deciding to work with him.
