Located on a prime spot just over the Pacific Coast Highway, this restaurant has a fabulous view of the Pacific Ocean. Inside, the whaling ship motif is reflected in the carved, beachwood, whale-shaped beams that hold up the chunky beamed ceiling. The large dining room is filled with sea themed art and white covered tables. The menu consists mostly of surf and turf offerings. Favorites include both the large steaks and the fresh catches of the day. Brunch is served on Sundays. A full bar is available.

My husband and I absolutely love Happy Hour at the Risty! The sunset views are amazing! Unfortunately there is a down side for food lovers! Everything but the salad and home made blue cheese dressing is less than adequate. If you are going for a romantic dinner don’t order food, just have drinks or the salad. Also there is problems with the service at times, but depending on if you get the wrong girl serving you. Worst meal and service of my life!
Wonderful evening with friends listening to Tom play and sing. A good time was had by all.
No place better in the South Bay, it’s going to be missed . I had sea bass last night and you couldn’t ask for a better meal. So long Admiral Risty, it’s been nice knowing you!
Was worth the drive from Bakersfield! This iconic restaurant will be missed for its great food, lively crowd and great wine selection!
