Just wondering out of curiosity has this happened to anybody within the last couple of years, "I applied under $50 dollars for a unit and got approved. I was a resident at The Addison on Main for just over five years, and during that time, I witnessed a significant decline in the quality of living. Toward the end of my stay, the environment became increasingly unsafe and unsanitary—frequent incidents of violence, visible drug use, neighbors breaking their own windows, trash strewn throughout the property, and used diapers regularly left in common areas. Who needs a luxury vacation when I can sweat out my sins right in my own living room? It’s a refreshing 89 degrees inside my apartment—perfect for melting into my furniture and pretending I’m in the Sahara. I especially enjoy how management consistently ignores AC repair requests. It’s like they want us to really connect with nature… or heatstroke. Honestly, it’s inspiring how committed they are to not fixing anything. If you’re considering moving here, be warned: the air conditioning situation is a nightmare, and management refuses to do anything about it. Multiple tenants, including myself, have submitted repeated maintenance requests about broken or barely functioning A/C units — especially during extreme heat — and we’re constantly ignored or given excuses.
