The Addison at the Gateway in Orlando has been such a positive experience for me. The community is quiet and peaceful, which makes coming home after a long day feel relaxing. The maintenance team is amazing! Whenever something comes up, they’re on it right away and always make sure it’s done properly. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Addison at Gateway Apartment Homes and their handling of the application process. From the beginning, the staff repeatedly claimed they value transparency, yet my experience was the complete opposite. Communication has been inconsistent, misleading, and unprofessional. Calls often go unanswered, and when they do answer, staff frequently place callers on speaker and behave as if they cannot hear you clearly. I’m already reevaluating my interest in moving here. I called 3x and emailed 1x yesterday between 12-2 pm and got no response… but around 8 pm they popped up on my tik tok for you page with a post from 3 hrs prior. I don’t think I would want to be a resident here if they are going to be this difficult to reach.
Stay away! Very poor management of property. I lived here for 18 months smelling weed in my apartment many nights per week. I was repeatedly told by management that they couldn't do anything about it because they couldn't prove anything about who was doing it. They were able, however, to send a bill to collections for $167 which went on my credit report without ever sending me an invoice, after vacating the property with a zero balance and the apartment in move-in ready condition for the next resident. This review is after several attempts to resolve the unbearable noise the upstairs unit constantly produces daily. Constant stomping from both the adults and the small child. My roommate works from home and can hear the child run across the unit back and forth for hours and there is also constant stomping from the adults late at night.
