Jared Thayer has instituted a great business with Thayer Design Build. The culture among all the staff and subcontractors is that of respect, quality work, kindness. It was a pleasure doing the bathroom remodel. Everyone wanted me to get the best end result and went above and beyond to get there. Rory, the project manager, sent me photos and descriptions daily. Thayer reconstructed the shower unit in our main bathroom. They did an excellent job. The work entailed a number of sub-contractors -- plumber, electrician, painter, custom-made glass, custom-made cultured marble. Everyone did the work they were brought in to do efficiently and courteously. The workers protected the areas in the house where they were not working, and left the jobsite clean and useable after each day's work. Thayer DB designed and remodeled our kitchen, the pantry/laundry room, a bathroom, and our dining room in Corvallis. They did a magnificent job. Thayer staff are very flexible in every aspect of the job. We were able to stretch the design phase out for 6 extra months so we could to the remodel in better weather and get all the details right.
