As newcomers to Sequim, met Sue and Paul at That Takes the Cake tonight. We already know we will be regular customers. They make one gluten free flavor every day. Think it's our duty to see if each flavor is as delicious as the coconut was tonight. Betting the answer is YES.

My Hubby ordered a cake for our 2yr anniversary, wanted one like the cupcake he had gotten me for Valentine's Day. Asked for same flavor and thin frosting. The cake was beautiful but we couldn't eat it. Was extremely dry and almost flavorless (the cake itself). Tasted like week old, weak, dry banana bread. Nothing like the raspberry cupcake. I saw this shop featured on TV a few weeks ago so had to stop by & try out the cupcakes. My, oh my...delicious!!! So far I've eaten my Triple Chocolate with mouse filling. WONDERFUL is all I can say. Tomorrow I will try the carrot cake one with cream cheese frosting. Then, no more sweets for a while. Highly recommend this place.
