'Upscale' Vietnamese and a little surprise – When I took my friend here, he said "This is like luxury Vietnamese!" While I wouldn't take it that far, this place's decor and and ambience is definitely more upscale than your everyday pho joint. Clean and vietnamese – I just walked by and saw this place. 8 dollars is a bit too much for pho but it beats drivng to bolsa. The waitstaff was helpful and quick. I can't say that there is enough MSG to consider this authentic vietnamese food. It's just not vietnamese without the MSG..I brought some on my own in the next time, and I just couldn't stop eating the food.

Best Place & Best Price This restaurant was a surprise. The dining room is inviting and the service was friendly. The menu had a nice variety of Vietnamese Cuisine. The Shaky Shaky beef was great and my wife had the Pho. I was glad to find such a gem here in Irvine.

Good Food and Good Service After reading several of the reviews here I put off dining at this restaurant. Big mistake. I took my wife and my five kids there. Service was very good and the food was fine. The pho was quite tasty. The shrimp sausage was great, as were the "wok" dishes. Prices are reasonable. The dishes range from $6.00 - $20.00. The bill for the seven of us came to $150.00. Not bad. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Great Food, Nice Decor, Friendly Staff – Great Food...I like it better than their Westminster Restaurant. It's close to home and always the same great experience. Vietnamese food presented in an artful way. One of my favorite restaurants.

looks great, tastes ok – It's the cleanest Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been too. Also the fanciest looking. Judging by the menu, the restaurant's going after some type of fusion style. But I chose not to have baked salmon in a restaurant that also serves pho. So, I ordered pho. How to tell whether pho is good? By its soup. And the soup here wasn't that good. The worst restaurant in OC!!! The service is just terrible and when I didn't leave a tip for the aweful service the waiter came after me screaming and yelling....I'll never go again.

GOT MORE THAN WHAT I ASKED – Looking for a place to relax and enjoy your valuable time and this is a place. Thanh restaurant where you could find a great Vietnamese food. Try the sampler eggrolls, shrimp sausage wrapped in crispy tofu, and shrimp paste skewered with sugarcane. Hungry for soup try the Pho (rice noodle soup) or banh canh (udon noodle) with shrimp and crab. clean vietnamese restaurant Thanh restaurant is one of the few clean vietnamese restaurant that I had visited. Their interior design is neatly plan and unique. They have a mirror wall on one side of their restaurant that makes their restaurant looks spacious. Their food is neatly prepared and its of average taste. Their appetizers such as spring rolls, summer rolls are really good and a must try for everybody who visit this restaurant!
