Hires questionable staff. Fails to return calls after multiple attempts. I am sure after reading this review he will respond negatively. Has at times displayed a temper. Install of breaker box failed inspection. Promises to "come back" never has. Had to hire another electrician to come correct what was done incorrectly. Still owes us 500 dollars for surge protector install. Also owes 600 for damage caused by his worker to the well pump for shotty install work. Good thing my wife's an attorney. Hugh contacted my husband and came to give us a quote for running power to the garage on Feb 8th 2023. Came and gave us the bid on Feb 9th. Asked for the deposit of $750 and cashed the check on Feb 10th. Told us he will come that Saturday, Feb 11th. Didn't show up. On Sunday, Feb 12th he claimed he lost his phone and we rescheduled to Feb 17th. Since then he disappeared. He doesn't pick up his phone or replies to texts. Beware! I can’t find where this man is even licensed in NC! I hired this guys to install a generator plug. He gutted the wiring to my hot tub long end to hook the generator and let me pay him. When I called him about the hot tub he hooked it back with no GCFI protection and unhooked the generator. He also upgraded my panel without pulling the proper permits even though he talked me into bringing my panel “ up to code”

Hugh was responsive when called..came and did the job. We had a new pole barn to have electrical installed and also a small pole barn that the wiring was burned up while the building contractors were using the power. There were some items that needed to be rectified before the inspection. Well..inspector came out. Big fat FAIL!
