Dr. Torres was "assigned" to me, without my consent, when I recently had a massive cardiac event and came to Illinois Masonic by ambulance. I have been a patient at Masonic for over 30 years. I have an attending physician, also an Internist, that I researched and chose, specifically. I have no idea how Dr. Torres was "assigned" to me but will surely inquire about that.
