Five Stars! – My colleagues and I had a great experience dining in this wonderful piece of authentic asia in Orlando. Not only is the food flavorful (I had the Chicken Green Curry) but the service as well is: polite and personable till the end by one of the best and wittiest servers I had the pleasure of meeting. Eddie treated us like friends and it was almost hard to get up and leave Thai Thani. Will definitely be back and spread the word about this Fabulous place. I highly recomment this restaurant!
Very romantic at night, but the chef needs help with flavoring. – I will make this short because in all fairness I have been to this restaurant only once. I will possibly give it another chance, but based on the fact that I found my dish to be totally bland and without the usual desired levels of flavor for which Thai food is loved, I will hope they have some new help in the kitchen. Oh YUM!!! – I just moved to Orlando from Jersey, and HOPED to find great Thai food. Mission accomplished! Fantastic atmosphere, great service, AWESOME food!
Fantastic local restaurant – Just as a note: I frequented Thai Thani for lunch, and can only speak about the service at that time. However, I have easily eaten at this restaurant about 30 times. The service was almost always fast. As a regular, the owner frequently had my order into the kitchen before I even sat down. The food is excellent - I am especially found of their curry. The spring rolls are also a favorite of mine. Having now moved out of the area, I very much miss this amazing restaurant.
Fair prices but AVOID the Thai ice tea – From what I read on line, there was a lot hype for Thai Thani. I have to admit that it didn't live up to the reviews. But in all fairness, here is my opinion of our dinner. GOOD THINGS - Service was faster than what we anticipated and polite. Convenient because they took our reservation over the phone. Average at best – Although the ambiance is nice the food was very average and expensive for the portion size. The pad thai lacked flavor, was just sweet. The cilantro was missing from the dish, but tons of crushed peanuts The potstickers were average, didn't have a lot of flavor. The spring rolls were served uncooked and cold which would have been ok if they had used rice paper, but they used spring wrapper dough which is unpleasant when not fried. Met our expectations – If you like Thai food, you should like this place. I had the Yellow Curry Pineapple Fried Rice and it was very good. My hubby got the Ginger Duck. The thai spring rolls were served cold, and while they weren't bad they were odd texturally. The Rice dish I got was delicious while my husband's Ginger Duck was skimpy on the duck, and the duck that was there was fatty. All in all we might go back, but next time I want Thai I might try a different place first.
Nice ambiance but terrible example of Thai food at very expensive prices. – The restaurant was crowded even though it was a weekday but we were seated quickly. They had many hand-crafted decorations inside making for a charming ambiance. However, that is all we enjoyed at this restaurant. The waitress barely understood what we said.
