Happy meal – This restaurant is sort of hidden. We found it only because we were with someone who were familiar with the town. But when we finally get there, the service and the food made the trip worth it. So, Thai Star is sort of a "hidden treasure" in the boring town of Merced. We would come back to try other items on the long menus.
Not bad for Merced Among all Thai restaurants in Merced, Thai Star seem to be the better one. Thought it still is not the best Thai food I've ever had. The service was good and it's relatively cleaner (better sanitation) than other Thai joints in town. The owner and the main chef is a Thai person. So, expect authentic Thai foods here.
Delcious, authentic Thai Cuisine. Thai Star is an authentic Thai Cuisine Restuarant. The food is made on the premises daily with fresh, Thai original ingredients. If you haven't tasted Thai food this would be a great treat for you.
