No other place in Merced has such authentic Thai cuisine quite like Thai Star. I am a regular here, and its not only the food that has me coming back. Every time that I step into the restaurant there is someone at front with a friendly smile ready to greet me. The decor of the restaurant is simple, giving the restaurant and very relaxed feel to it. The butternut squash curry was so delicious! � I have a new favorite dish! �
Had yellow curry and let me tell you, wow!! The customer service was outstanding as well. Every so often the waitress came by to make sure my drink was full and everything was ok and that the table was not crowded with dishes.
I can't believe I waited so long to come here. Awesome dishes. We ordered seafood, pork, and chicken and everything was excellent. The fried rice was perfect (vegetables crisp, pork a lovely soft, not dry or chewy, texture, rice not greasy). Had Massaman Curry for the first time.
