Nice place – Great atmosphere! The waitresses are very kind, and willing to help! Please try the coconut soup, you won't regret!
Thai food done as it should be – Thai Star is a great little restaurant, the quality and price are hard to beat. One of my go-to dishes is the Kapow, I make it a point to try different items from the menu and have enjoyed everything I have had. The staff is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the metroplex.
Yummy! – Wow, we tried a new place for lunch. Now it is my favorite Thai food in Dallas. (sorry, Royal Thai) I had Broccoli Stir Fry...garlicky, fresh ingredients, mouth watering...delish....also with a nice spicy kick. I ordered medium. My fellow diners were equally delighted with their entrees. I had a bite of the noodles and they tasted like more. I can't wait to go back...maybe this weekend!
BEST DALLAS THAI FOOD RESTAURANT!!! – My wife and I brought another couple with us to Thai Star last week! WHAT A GREAT TIME!! We ordered 4 entrees and split them up between us...WHAT A FEAST!! An oasis from the Addison "strip" of chain restaurants – Thai Star is a wonderful experience if you like cozy, one of a kind, I’ve stepped out of my hectic life, into an oasis in Addison type of place. the best Thai Food – I just back from my second visit and I've got the say this is the best Thai food I've had in Dallas. The first time I went, I started with the shrimp and pork dumpling. New Ownership Big Disappointment. WHAT A SHAME – I thought I was going out for Thai? What's the deal with the really bad ...effing terrible live folk? singer? I should have seen it coming with the new management adding T.V.'s and recorded music at what was until recently a solid spot for lunch.
