I have to say the new look of the restaurant feels like a cheap take out restaurant. The atmosphere before the remodel was so much more friendly and inviting. Prices have gone up and it is just not the same. I have been e a regular here for 5 years before the remodel. It definitely does not feel the same. RecommendedVery attentive to food allergy
I’m not sure why you changed when you had such a good thing going? I’m pretty disappointed with the new buffet style and the rotating food options. What was once my favorite Thai restaurant, is now I place I won’t go back to, unless it goes back to the quality made to order food we all loved.
This was our favorite restaurant! I’m so sad that I can longer recommend them. The cafeteria style buffet just does not work for our family. I hope they can switch back to fresh made to order Thai food.
Thai spice is now called Chow Thai and it is awful!!!!! This is more like Chinese take out but more expensive. Very dry, not a lot of flavor. It sits under a light on a food bar that they pull your food from. The Thai Spice before it became Chow Thai, set the bar very high and was always crowded, so we don’t understand what happen. It’s very sad because their food before was excellent, and Thur new ( Thai) is basically a joke!
Everything I had was delicious, I highly recommend the sushi!
The best thing for me from Thai Spice is the out of this world SUSHI! If you want good sushi, this is the place to come. I've been to several different sushi places in both Wilmington and Leland and this has by far been the best in taste, size, and beautiful presentation! You have to try their other dishes as well as they are packed full of flavor! I also love that this restaurant is perfect for Vegans as very little on their menu is not vegan friendly.
