I have lived on the Outer Banks for almost 30 years. I am often asked by visitors to the area where they should eat. There have always been so many options to choose from living here. My first answer is always The Thai Room!!! They have a super friendly staff. Their food is cooked to order and always amazing. I have tried everything on the menu at one time or another. It is special, different but pleasing ambience, service beyond compare, food is great. BUT Jimmy is retiring and going home to Thailand, my family will miss him. I wish the BEST TO YOU JIMMY, thanks for all the wonderful meals you prepared for us. The good news is, we still have POK.
No Thai food where I live, so I always check out those I stumble across when on vacation. Thai Room is one of the best I've been to. Our waitress was delightful, had us taste the soup when she brought it to be sure it was just right. It was perfect! Highly recommend the soups, and the Sticky Rice and Mango dessert was the best I have had anywhere.
