We went here three days ago, and everything was excellent! The lady serving us was super sweet, and I think she might be the owner. We had the Tom Yum soup, shrimp Thai fried rice, yellow chicken curry, noodles, and fried ice cream, and everything tasted amazing. They also have great prices on their lunch specials. My daughter goes to school in SoCal and we were driving back home. We used to go to Thai Purple all the time when we lived here about 10 years ago, and it was so nice to come back and see that nothing has changed.... read more
My mom and I dropped by for Sunday lunch and tried out their lunch specials. The inside is really spacious, and the service was pretty good. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao Noodles (which they only serve on Sundays and Mondays) and the Yellow Curry (we chose chicken as the protein). If you love basil, you will definitely like the Pad Kee Mao. It is way more savory than Pad See Ew, which is usually a bit sweeter. Personally, I still prefer Pad See Ew, but it was cool to try. Great, inexpensive food, we had a full meal that fed 6 adults for $120, including a generous tip. Go & enjoy!
