Support Fraudulent Thai Ginger? – I try to support businesses with similar ethics as mine. After having read this article and many others about Thai Ginger's owner having committed immigration fraud--paying people to marry her relatives so they could stay in the U.S., I can no longer support such a business. Even if they do cook good food (sometimes), this restaurant is terribly managed and owned. And her employees show the lack of management in their atrocious customer service. Not a place to go. Citysearch isn't letting me... read more

We just moved to Madison Park and I was excited to have Thai Ginger within walking distance until I went there for take out. 15 to 20 minutes turned in to 45. Ok, they were busy, but my wife's Phad Thai was luke warm and so were the spring rolls. Speaking of the spring rolls they were awful. I've had better from the frozen food aisle at the super market. I had the Rahd Nah, which basically was a bucket of noodles at the bottom, then chicken, then broccoli in what tasted like diluted gravy from the can. Awful. Needless to say... read more

Great Service!!!! – Wow, I have been to all the Thai Ginger locations and Thai Ginger, located in Madison Park is the best! I have eat at the Madison location at least 2-3 times a month; bringing family and friends. I never have to worry about sevice. By the way, the name of the Manager there is Peter and he is the BEST! He also has a right hand man, his name is "Moo"I like that he is consistent, letting me know what the specials are and encouraging me to try new dishes. He keeps my guest and I entertained and welcomed like ... read more

Editorial Review – Upscale Thai restaurant in Madison Park offers standards like noodles and swimming rama along with unusual dishes like salmon curry.

A taste of westernized Thai – Thai Ginger in downtown Seattle is a good restaurant for a date or an after work get together. I have been there on three occasions with colleagues. The food is good but not authentic if that is what you are looking for. The prices are a little high and the service is good. We always order family style starting with appetizers and then sharing several main courses. I liked the steamed crab and the lamb chops for entrees. Most of the appetizers are good notably the satays.

Fun and upbeat Thai restaurant – My boyfriend and I went to Thai Ginger in Pacific Place on our first date and return every year for our anniversary. While it is not my favourite Thai restaurant, the food is what you would expect and the atmosphere is fun and modern. They also have a great bar. I take friends here before nights out on the town to get things started. Fun place.

You are in for a treat! – We were wandering around our new neighborhood looking for a place to dine for the evening. How about Thai? Were we in for a treat! We started with the Thai iced coffees to enjoy with our succulent chicken satay. The peanut sauce was perfect. I don't usually enjoy that because at most places I find it too "gingery", but in my opinion they got it right. Our main course consisted of the savory 4 star spicy chicken phad thai which was bountiful enough for the two of us to split.

your 8.9 rating unjustified – On 28NOV04, I saw your 8.9 rating so this would be a reasonable experience; NOT EVEN CLOSE. The omnipresent service was polite and cheerful; my water glass was repetitively refilled never being less than half-full. TOM YUM with chicken was almost pleasant however the chicken had been cooked to terrible toughness. MUSSAMUN CURRY was fair however this beef was noticeably less than tender. PHAD SE-IEW with beef was short on broccoli, the noodles stuck together so it too was not worth trying in the ... read more

Not the best.... – I have traveled extensively including Thailand itself - this was the worst Thai I've had. There was very little traditional Thai - too much oil in the cooking and I was dissapointed overall.
