I wouldn't recommend it, save you the trouble and drive down to Asheville. Poor service, server didn't refill drinks, food came out pretty late compare to other tables. I ordered the drunken noodle dish, I didn't get my meal until EVERYONE at my table finish eating. I finally got my meal when one of my friend's second entrée came out, he already finished his first one then ordered another meal. Food was mediocre, it was decent. The flavors seem to be mild. Absolutely the best Thai food I've had since I moved back from California in 2001. Great service, great prices, amazing food!!
Absolutely.... and with no doubt the BEST Thai food ever! Van is an incredible chef and I make a point of dining at Thai Basil when ever I am in Black Mountain... in fact, I have had dim sum brought to me in Vermont whenever my spouse is down there...I find myself comparing other Thai restaurants to Thai Basil, but alas. .. no other has measured up yet.
One of the best Thai restaurants. We always make a special trip to Black Mountain just to eat here.... love it!
