I have been a patient of Dr. Brown for about five years. She and her staff are communicative, pleasant, and professional. All of my concerns and questions are promptly addressed. They are always on time with appointments and very efficient. I am usually out of the office within an hour. The only reason for a four star rating instead of five because when I telephone the office, I am put on hold for several minutes. This is easily the worst doctor's office I have ever went to. I basically cannot get a doctor's appointment and they told me 2 hours before a doctor's appointment, they called me and told me there was nothing they could do for me, but they would tele health me an appointment immediately on the spot so I could get some ozempic, never mind that the doctor's appointment was because the Olympic they gave me screwed me up on top of other issues. Basically if you're white this office is not going to help you. Get a lawyer.
Edit- I am being left without a medication because the office is requiring I have an appointment to get a refill, but they have no appointments for two weeks or a resolution. This medication is not one I can stop cold turkey. At this point, they are negligent and putting patients in danger. Can’t get an apt for a month from now. That’s ridiculous to not have access to your own doctor for a need.
Avoid Tampa General Medical Group. Staff poorly trained. They move doctors around at well. No longer suppoting quality compassionate professional care. Administration promotes poor medical care. Difficult to get a hold of.
Edlyn brown and the staff at this location are so rude, Ive read I am not the only one feeling mistreated by this office, I was asked why i was there, i said physical, nurse said no your not, i stated thats what i requested for my appointment she leaves and then the supervisor comes in my room , she was talking down to me, said your not here for a physical. made me feel uncomfortable so I asked what is my appointment for then? she then became even more aggressive with her tone, and body language...I said i cant ask a questio... read more
