In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Virginia Beach, VA is still America's most iconi... read more

Place is great for after work drinks (special drink list on Thurdays) or anytime for lunch. We work right across the street so it's easy to walk over in the afternoon.

OMG! Where should I begin?! Let's just say that when my order arrived it looked nothing like it was supposed to, looked more like a kiddie meal with a hefty price. I have been at this place several times and each time i have had to talk to a manager because the server did come to the table at all and the other severs did not knowledge me and my guest. The food was good. The manager was very nice and helpful.
This is my favorite TGIF. It has a great atmosphere and isn't as small and dingy as the other locations. I enjoyed their buffalo wings and all their other great appetizers.
