I had a Flat Twists/Hydration/Haircut appointment with Sheena and left disappointed a day prior to my birthday. First, I was told blow drying wasn’t included, even though it’s not listed as an add-on and is essential for trimming natural hair. I usually don’t write reviews of my hair salon experiences, but today I’m going to—and the experience is still fresh. I had an appointment for flat twists in the front of my head. When I called to make the appointment, I was told the stylist wouldn’t have time to do two-strand twists in the back, and I was okay with that. I have been coming to this salon for a couple of years now with no issues but unfortunately I have had such a bad experience that I have to leave a review. I came in for a silk press but changed my mind to a blow out and trim because of upcoming bad weather. The detangling process post wash was absolutely awful. I came in with my hair fully detangled and in twists but the washing process completely tangled and matted my hair. Jazmin did my hair and I love it. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She also gave me some great ideas for taking care of my hair and my color.
I did a same-day appointment for a silk press after taking out my braids yesterday and Amanda did an awesome job. The shop is centrally located and very nice atmosphere and my hair looks amazing. She has been in business for years and has loyal clients who were also receiving services. Great experience
