Just moved here a year ago. I go here often. Steaks are excellent,prices are too. I don't care for the side room as the lights are so bright it's annoying.The main dining area and bar area are nice.Staff is helpful,although it would be nice if they brought the salads early and not WITH the meal. I moved here from from FL,had the shrimp skewers 3 times. First time they were great, the other 2 they were overcooked,so perhaps a few lessons on not to overcook seafood,but it wasn't terrible. Bad service! They were short-staffed because a waitress didn't come in (what we were told). The one that worked with us did her best, but it was just overwhelming. We were there for two hours! The wait for our food was excessive. The steaks were mixed up (one medium, one well done), & the waitress told us incorrectly which was which. I could go on, but that’s enough. We were given a $100 gift card for Christmas, but we don't even want to go there to use it!
The food is good (average), service could be a little better, and the atmosphere is average. Come again
Slow service (30 minutes) to be served chili and baked potato for lunch. Chili was awful (waitress said it comes as dehydrated powder in a bag)
The wait time was absurd. The meat was rare but like it never even saw a grill or stove or oven AT ALL. I did complain but it was scarey. The drinking glasses felt like greasy crumbs were on them and i felt like i needed to double check my plate. The guys restroom was a health hazard. Maybe the plumbing was messed up. The next time i take like say for instance my mom out for a special occassion it wont be there.
Truly Terrible!!!! My office decided to have employee appreciation lunch at this location. We had made reservations for 8 two weeks prior to our lunch date. It took 1 1/2 hours for the food to be delivered to our table. Mine was inedible...it was a steak skillet with cold meat and veggies. I sent it back and they just put the food back on the grill to heat it back up. The middle of the steak was still cold. My family and I were traveling through Charleston WV and thought this place would be a good break in our travel. Wow were we wrong. The service was terrible, our glasses were dirty, my steak was burnt (I ordered medium). The menu said half rack of ribs and it was only 3 ribs. The asparagus was so salty it wasnt even edible. When I let the server know he said "yeah I know".....Thats it. Extremely disappointed. For three people our bill was 50 dollars and I wish we wouldnt of eaten here and Id advise you dont either.
I don t usually do this but after my last experience at your establishment I can t let it go albeit I have never had a good dining experience there. In the past we have waited over an hour for food that is not cooked right or very well but after waiting so long don t feel like sending it back to be redone. Even the previous occasion when we arrived we were greeted by 2 hostesses and a manager playing around at the front.
