I felt very well taken care of, everyone is an excellent professional, they were very kind, I highly recommend their services. Just today there was a special event and I received a pair of sunglasses as a gift.
I had an amazing experience at Texas State Optical – West University! They got me in same day for an eye exam, and the entire team was so friendly and transparent about pricing. With my Aetna POS II insurance, I only paid about $140 total for frames, prescription lenses, scratch-resistant, and blue-light protection — it would’ve been over $600 without insurance. I have loved TSO because of how convenient the location is, when dr Waltz was there it was an incredible clinic and he was fantastic. Since he’s gone everything has gone down hill, a couple of years ago one of the front desk ladies refused to help me order contacts, she said she wasn’t able to do it that I needed to take the exam since I was due for it, which I understood but then on the website it allowed me to order the contacts I still had a month available to order so she clearly wasn’t wanting to help me. The facility was bright, spotless with modern equipment. Dr. Emily Pham was very knowledgeable, thorough, attentive and caring. Her staff was cheerful and efficient with pre-exam checks & payment. I had an excellent eye exam and my new vision has been great.
I had such a great experience with Dr. Emily Pham! She did a routine eye exam and contact lens fitting, and her manner is so sweet and personable—perfect if you don’t usually enjoy going to doctor appointments. She made the whole process quick, easy, and comfortable. Her staff (worked with Joy before I saw Dr. Pham) was also incredibly kind, and the all-women office (when I visited) was so efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you so much, Dr. Pham and Joy! :)
