I went there in 2013 for alcohol recovery. The food was great! The staff was vindictive and discussed patients in the open. The program was great. A number of patients had been there many times. I hope it finally worked for them. The doctor who runs the place saw me once with his slate of questions. He will tell you to remember FIVE WORDS, as he continues his questions. I stayed at TxStar 10 days for Ambien withdraw. You would see the doctors only on the weekdays. My doctor decided to take his vacation half way threw my stay so I could only see the nurse pract. The food was horrible. Everone complained about it. I ordered out every night. Rosa the nurse was awesome. This place looks nothing like the pictures. If you can get past the food & are being treated for alchol I would recommend this place. They have great support for AAA

Now, to their credit they will help you from any intense withdrawals be it opiates, meth, or alcohol. However I have chronic an... read more

The neuro assessment seemed to be the most important thing. It frightened me, so I left. I called after a month to try to make another appointment, and was told that I was, "not ready to come to rehab. Well, I was a mess, and I needed rehab, but I guess I'll get it together on my own. If you have complicated problems or would like someone to ... read more
