I had spine surgery with Dr. Vishal Patel three years ago, and I am very grateful for the excellent care I received. From the beginning, he was compassionate, patient, and never pressured me into having surgery. Dr Patel was recommended by a co-worker and it was the best recommendation. I had a herniated disc causing bad sciatica pain; he called me personally to fix a scheduling mishap because he knew I would be in pain. He talked me through options, and I settled on getting a micro disc surgery. The surgery went very smoothly and he called me personally the next day to check in. Can’t recommend him enough if you have a spinal issue.

Writing before my visit because there isn't an email and the person I talked to on the phone was not helpful. I wanted to schedule an appointment so I went to the website. After clicking on "Request Appointment" you are taken to a page that has a form to fill out to request an appointment (the office will call you back). However, above that there is a large yellow button that says "Book Online". I clicked that and was taken to a screen to schedule an appointment through ZocDoc. Dr. Patel performed 3 spine surgeries on me from 2022 to 2023. Recently I went to a pain management doctor for some injections that put me in the ER twice and over a week stay. They were unable to help me but I came to Dr. Patel who recognized instantly what was wrong and helped me. I am so thankful for his help but mainly for the compassion shown to me after all these years. He cares about what his job but even more for his patients.
