Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant I used to like going to Logan's because their food was fresh, and very tasty. The steaks were seasoned just right and served the way you ordered them. Now the quality of the food is not nearly as good and the service is even worse. I sure would like to get those good hot rolls from somewhere else! They are good!! Maybe their is a new management team there now, but, whatever it is they need to address the problems they have and let everyone know that they are improving.
not impressed we've tried this place twice and still do not care for it. our relatives tried it as well and had to send the steak back twice. once for not being cooked properly and another for them sending out a much cheaper cut than the one ordered. we had a similar problem the first time we went in. while my boyfriend said that the steak tasted great, everything else was extremely bland. my ranch dressing tasted almost sour and the lettuce was soggy. the second time i ordered fried mushrooms and they were soggy as well. i ... read more
My favorite steak house! I think these are the best steaks in Jacksonville! It was really crowded and noisy but it's worth it. Their bread reminds me of the bakeries in NYC.
Great Food & Service!! Another favorite steak place!! They have the best rolls I have ever eaten and it comes with cinnamon butter, which is also delicious. The steaks are really good, very lean, and are almost always cooked to perfection. I always get the filet mignon, which is the leanest of steaks, and it is always grilled to my liking. Fun Fun family restaurant. The birthday song is interesting. They try to involve the whole restaurant by asking customers to give a 'yee haw.' Our kids loved the free peanuts and especially loved dropping the shells on the floor. Desserts are limited as is the menu. The nachos are good, but there is no salsa available for them. I think the owners should just go out and buy a couple of big bottles of PACE salsa, or next time I might bring my own. This is a good restaurant for families with kids.
Fun for all If you like peanut shells on the floors, racing memorabilia on the walls and good food, then Logan's Roadhouse is for you. The experience begins at the front door when you are greeted by a cheerful hostess and then seated among the craziness that is Logan's. The service during our visit was good and the food was just as we ordered it. We tried their frozen margarita's and were not disappointed. The prices were about the average for steak houses in the Jacksonville area. Over all good experience.
