I went there for the first time on Friday July 21st. A southern Md hidden gem about 12 miles from waldorf. The waitress who's been there for a long time (forgot her name) was fast and friendly even tho it was super busy at lunchtime .The fried catfish was the only fish they offered but it was very good with light breading. (Enough to split between 2 seniors)The collard greens ,cornbread and coleslaw were very tasty .My friend had a burger which she said was very good ... Will he taking my son here.. 9
We always have a good experience here. The food is great and the prices are right. And my toddler is in love with Camilia, our waitress, who is incredibly attentive and courteous, by the way! We always stop here on the way to our VA property. The only thing that could make it better is a changing table and an enclosed play area outside. But diapers are temporary and a play area might incur extra insurance costs...neither will stop us from coming again and again. :)
The steam shrimp were excellent. And my son loved my wife's catfish sandwich.
The fact that the sides were the size of samples was a MAJOR turn off for us. 3 bites of Mac n cheese is NOT a side.
Used to go often back when it was Twin Kiss and I lived closer. Went by yesterday and had Carolina BBQ and Cole Slaw and it was marvelous! Can't wait to go back. My hot fudge sundae was good as ever. We loved our experience and will see you again.
Some of the best BBQ sauce I've had and my fiancé loved her macaroni salad as well. Both of us loved our pulled chicken sandwiches and Megan was very sweet during our visit congratulating us on our recent engagement. Definitely coming back here next time we visit Chapel Hill.
