The experience with the staff was great and I must say the laser treatment did work but Dr Djafari walked in the room didn't speak or introduced himself, did my treatment didn't explain anything to me and then walked out without a word. If the staff hadn't been so great I wouldn't have came back. But on the follow up visit when I asked about my eye Dr Djafari said "you can see right" then walked out I knew that I was not coming back. If you don't mind a doctor with no personality he's your man.
Recommend this office for eye care. I trouble with Austin Retina Associates. My Optometrist referred me to this office. They immediately found and treated a retina tear that was not discovered by Austin Retina Associates. They are very reasonable and show great care toward their patients!! Highly recommend Texas Retina Institute!
I suffered a detached retina before Christmas, 2021. Dr. Djafari performed immediate emergency surgery on Dec 23rd. He went above and beyond and met me back in his office Christmas Eve (while his office was closed) to make sure my eye was healing properly. While it was a long road to recovery I've continued under his care for the past year!. After 3 surgeries I am now seeing almost 20/20 from the damaged eye! I highly recommend Dr Djafari.

I came to Texas Retina Institute through the Va. My retina detactched on a Sunday, I went to the VA on Monday where after examination was referred to Dr. Roller. He had me set for surgery by Wednesday. I wound up going through two surgeries with him plus accordant follow ups. I found his manner to be professional and informative. He briefed me before surgeries and provded me with the information I needed.
