Dr Mushtaq is the best psychiatrist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with!
Excellent experience with Texas Psychiatry Group! The front desk staff is incredibly professional, welcoming, and efficient. They made scheduling easy, handled all my questions with patience, and ensured a smooth check-in process. It really sets a positive tone for the entire visit.
Saw Dr. Kirsch for one intake appointment; it wasn't a good fit. I think Dr. Kirsch has a lot of experience but could use some refreshing on active listening, not making assumptions, and professionalism during sessions. I hope this was an odd occurance and not an average experience her clients have. My pcp referred me to Texas psychiatry group in September 2025 for my anxiety and depression. I started therapy services where I had ONE actual psychiatry visit, in September (it’s now February) with the psychiatrist then every month after that the front desk would call and say she needed to reschedule my visit due to “health issues” but she would be in my medication management virtual visits so I’m not sure why she was available for those but not the actual psychiatrist discussion visits.
