Troy, IL - a great place to live I just signed on so my comment is not about the paper but about Troy, IL. It is a great place to live. I have been here about 16 years and love it. There is a separate rating web page for schools in different states and towns/cities because by daughter used it when she was having to move. I am sorry I do not know the website but with a little research I am sure you can find it.

Tribune no help I agree with the person from CA, that is moving, the Troy Tribune online is no use, I could not find a thing.

From outside I don't live in or near the Troy, IL community, but my family is moving to the greater St Louis areas hopefully on the IL side and we are considering Troy. It would have been nice to search the local paper for news and information about schools and rentals. We live near a small town in AL of about 8,000 and even our little podunk newspaper has a website and is on facebook. I am disappointed but will soldier on with my search.

Times Tribune should be on-line! I don't live in Troy but near it. I run a small business from my home and I'd love for Times Tribune to be on-line like everyone else. Lazy or not, handicapped or not, whatever the case may be, it would help out their community and others as well. Another issue is that the Highland Shopper cannot be mailed to Troy homes for the simple fact that not enough Troy businesses advertise in it! I know many people who live in Troy who would LOVE to get The Shopper mailed to their home for free instea... read more

Times Tribune is awesome! I totally agree with it not being online. Good grief people, get off your butts! Lazy just lazy. The paper is fantastic the way it is. Why fix something that isnt broken??????

not for online papers The paper will not be put On line since it is a small town paper and there is not enough money coming in as it is. Also, I don't believe in the newspaper being on line since it doesn't help the communities paper out. So please, don't be like the rest of America with our lazy habits and drive 5 minutes to pick up the paper for a buck.

WHY CAN'T YOU GET IN TOUCH WITH 2009???? I do not understand why Troy's newspaper cannot get in touch with 2009!!! I would love to keep in touch with my Home Town. Yet, Cannot unless it is through the Internet and those who on either on Facebook or those who I have their email or even yet through Christmas Cards... I truly do believe this is a disservice to you local and non-local costumers.

Change, and On Line News Paper Why would the newspaper want to be any different than any other part of Troy Municipality. The town is 2 years behind on the Rt. 162 project, the mayor is out of touch on what the town really needs, like tax revenue for the town from industrial business (rather than taxing the home owners to death), and many other issues. Take the paper ONLINE I agree. I would also like to see the Tribune online. I am from the Troy area and it would be nice to be able to keep on top of local happenings. Just a thought....you would reach a broader base of readers.
