I wrote a very disappointing review for Texas Pain Physicians. Their communication skills are lacking both on the phone and in person. The doctor was rude, and I had to wait two hours past my appointment time to be seen. If I could give zero stars, I would. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Despite sending my medical records in advance and confirming their receipt by calling on Friday, nobody seems to know where they are. I am extremely disappointed with Texas Pain Physicians and Dr. Elhady. I have been in excruciating pain for four days and have left several messages with the office staff, yet I have not received a single call back. Not from the staff, and certainly not from Dr. Elhady herself. When you are dealing with severe, ongoing pain, being ignored only makes the situation worse. I have been using Dr Irfan for 8 years it so. I moved 2.5 hours away and used a different Dr who was not so good. I came back to Dr Irfan after a short period of time and now drive 2.5 hours each way to see him. Dr Irfan is a straight up guy. Be straight with him and the respect it's paid back. Dr Irfan is helping people get their lives back through different procedures. Recommend.
Love the Doctor and staff but the hassle is just unbelievable. Two appointments at the same time (one for med refill and one for injection) but then they canceled one of them about 20 minutes before I got there, but then put it back on schedule so I was taken to preop for injection after paying fee ($350ish). But then they made me walk over to a different building to pee and pay another fee ($78ish). I saw med assistant and took a cognitive test on an iPad and peed (never saw NP). I've visited this location on two occasions and was not seen by the doctor. The first I waited for 1 hr and was never called, the second time i came back and my appt wasn't scheduled. This is totally ridiculous and unprofessional.
