Dr. Courtney Yau and her staff are Fantastic. I have to have an Infusion of Desmopressin prior to Moh's Suregery. Dr. Yau coordinated my infusion with Dr. Chen at Central Texas Dermatology. Ariel the nurse who did my infusion was fantastic. I went directly from Texas Oncology to Central Texas Dermatology for a successful Moh's Surgery on my cheek. Thank you Dr. Yau and Staff for your great care.

The fact you have to make a request to make an appt then wait for a call back to schedule an appt is ridiculous. You should be connected right then and there to someone not hrs or days later when it's convenient for the office personnel. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY CALL YOU AND SAY WE NEED TO MAKE AN APPT TO GO OVER TEST RESULTS THAT ARE CONCERNING BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT RIGHT NOW SOMEONE ELSE WILL CALL YOU LATER TODAY/ IN FEW DAYS TO SET THAT UP. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS AND UPSETTING.

Texas Oncology’s hematology department is the most incompetent medical office I’ve ever dealt with. They repeatedly failed to order the correct labs, didn’t get the right medications, ignored my requests, and delayed care for weeks. Staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like my health was an inconvenience. Because of their negligence, my surgery had to be canceled — completely avoidable if they’d done their jobs. In my opinion, this place is a risk to patient safety and should be investigated.

The care I received at Tx oncology was wonderful. All the nurses are amazing! The front desk as well. I was making the drive from out of town and they figured out how to do my labs closer. I have changed providers so my treatment is much closer to home, but I appreciate the services from Tx oncology.
