I wanted to share that I have been going to this office at Texas Ips Pulmonary care for a couple of years now and been seeing Dr. Amalakuhan. Office staff are great along with their MA’s. I couldn’t ask more for an excellent, attentive, caring and concern doctor. He knows his specialty and treats his patient with care. If anyone is looking for a pulmonologist this is the office to go to and to see him.
They claim they are short staffed after receiving my referral over a week ago & say only the referral person can schedule an appt Patients with critical conditions should not wait over a week just to get an appt a month later Bad customer service they can’t even schedule u even though they confirmed they received ur referral!!!
Needed a CT scan to check up on a lung surgery I had years ago in another state. Came in for a first visit / check up (no CT scan), and the doctor told me to schedule an appointment in a month. This office is extremely un-accommodating of disabled people, which a medical facility of all places should be. When I arrived for my appointment, ALL the elevators were broken. When I called the receptionist and said I can’t make my appointment due to the elevators being broken and because I can’t breathe (this is a pulmonology office— who would’ve guessed I can’t breathe!) she asked me if I could take the stairs, despite just hearing me say I CANNOT. I can’t even go up stairs in my own house.
My dad saw Dr. Liendo and she was the most compassionate and caring doctor we have met. My dad’s sleep has significantly improved and she helped him be more compliant with his mask by listening to him and figuring out it was a sizing issue. Forever grateful! She is a gift on this earth! It’s been so hard to find the right doctor.
